The Rising Voices of Courage Scholarship
The Rising Voices of Courage Scholarship is a cornerstone of our commitment to supporting the next generation. We award $500 to one qualified high school student planning to attend Carteret County Community College. This scholarship seeks individuals who resonate with our values of courage, compassion, and community impact, demonstrating resilience and a strong commitment to leadership within their community and beyond.
We understand the financial demands of higher education. The Rising Voices of Courage Scholarship is designed to alleviate some of these burdens. The $500 award can be used to cover any costs pertaining to school, ensuring you have the resources you need to succeed. This scholarship will be applied directly to the student's financial aid account at the Financial Aid Office of Carteret County Community College, simplifying the process and directly supporting your academic pursuits.

Application Deadlines
Scholarship Open: March 1st, 2026
Deadline: April 15th, 2026 by 11:59pm - (Note: Application and required documentation must be submitted before the deadline to be considered for the award).
Review Period: April 16th - April 30th
Notify Winner: May 1st, 2026 via email and phone
